This research week, which is organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR) at King Abdulaziz University, represents one of the important elements in the development plan of scientific research, which is considered one of the most fundamental pillars upon which universities stand. This meeting aims to highlight the activities of scientific research represented by scientific centers of excellence, central laboratories, scientific research chairs, and research projects supported by the university and outside bodies, and internationally registered patents and their outcomes. Moreover, this meeting also demonstrate the outstanding scientific production of the outstanding researchers, and the mostimportant applied research, in order to deepen communication between scientific research centers, research centers outside the university, and the business sector, and to achieve benefit optimization of the results of ongoing research and to widen community participation for scientific research
