Knowledge Excellence Program

Based on Vision 2030 the idea of creating a scientific knowledge program called "knowledge excellence program" is presented. The main objectives of the program are:

1. Data auditing and monitoring systems based on the University's strategic objectives and plans in the area of knowledge and scientific research.
2. It contributes to the development of knowledge, excellence and leadership in scientific research, creativity in the development and service of the society.
3. It is designed to build bridges of scientific and research cooperation with universities and prestigious educational institutions all over the world.
4. The program also aims at supporting KAU appropriate decision making by monitoring and analyzing the scientific and research standards and excellence activities in the university.

Terms and Conditions Applying for the Program

1. The applicant must be a faculty member in King Abdulaziz University.
2. A Knowledge Excellence Project can have only three investigators, one principal investigator, one international collaborator of the ranks of Adjunct Professor and one Co investigator. PI and Co PI must be from KAU.
3. The project can be submitted on the prescribed Knowledge Excellence Project application, which can be downloaded from DSR Portal.
4. The project title must be relevant to the current trends in the discipline.
5. The project must be written in English with precision.
6. The project must be checked on iThenticte.com for any plagiarism. Having significant plagiarism, the project may be returned to remove plagiarism.
7. The outcome from the project must have King Abdulaziz University as the first affiliation of the KAU investigators and DSR must be acknowledged for funding by mentioning Project number in the published paper.
8. At least three papers must be published in ISI indexed journals and journals must be listed in JCR.
9. Knowledge Excellence Program is also open to Master's and Doctorate Students but they can only participate with their registered supervisors.
