Cognitive Excellence Program

Based on Vision 2030, the idea of establishing the Knowledge Excellence Program came, which is a scientific knowledge and research program. Aims to:
Auditing and monitoring data and control systems based on the university’s strategic goals and plans in the field of knowledge and scientific research.
Contributing to the development of knowledge, excellence, and leadership in scientific research and creativity for the development and service of society.
Building bridges of scientific and research cooperation with prestigious universities and educational institutions around the world.
Supporting appropriate decision-making for the university’s senior management by monitoring and analyzing scientific and research standards and excellence activities at the university.
Conditions for applying for the program:
The researchers must be two university faculty members in each project, in addition to an external researcher cooperating with the university
One of the researchers must be a Saudi faculty member with at least the rank of assistant professor in cognitive excellence projects in which master’s students participate, taking into account the fulfillment of the conditions for supervising master’s students’ dissertations.
Participation of Saudi graduate students in cognitive excellence projects
Knowledge excellence projects in which graduate students do not participate, so the external researcher is not required to be among those collaborating with the university. Master’s students may be involved in these projects if the research team so desires, provided that the name of the external researcher is not included in the thesis supervision committee.

Application for the program is made after filling out the application forms for the program from the forms box and sending them to the email address of the Deanship of Scientific Research designated for this purpose, which is: dsr.hici@kau.edu.sa
