Abstract : Chamomile plant is a herb used by people around the world since thousands of years and is still used today for the many therapeutic benefits. These include the uses of tissue inflammation and against the soft muscle cramps and dysmenorrhea in women and as a painkiller and a reduced temperature in the skin care and against ulcers. Chamomile is used in the form of a tea infusion. Studies conducted on chamomile extract that has the effect of the forces of anti-inflammatory tissue when tested in the palm of the background using the mouse Akaraginat and formalin to make a tissue inflammation and the magnitude effect is directly proportional to the dose given. The study also confirmed the conclusion that the chamomile also have a dampening effect of pain in mice using the hot disk, or when the injection of formalin or acetic acid in the peritoneal membrane in the rat. The studies also proved to a summary of chamomile calming effect and helps to bring sleep in rats.
