Abstract : This research aims to extrapolate the possible and feasible ways to induce the redevelopment and rehabilitation of the slums of the Interior, with deteriorating buildings in the city of Jeddah. The report explains the ways and the results of studies of physical and social neighborhood Alkndrh Jeddah as a case study, where up to monitor many of the major conclusions, which include increasing the proportion of non-Saudis in the neighborhood, increase the proportion of renters, low income, high unemployment, lack of courage to spend in the aspects of Saanaalmsakn especially by the tenants and the resort of the majority of workers - including the self-employed workers - to work outside the neighborhood and the neighborhoods. It turns out that the neighborhood attractive to tenants is to decrease the average value of rental housing units. Has been making recommendations to stimulate development and improve the living situations of the housing in neighborhoods similar.
