Abstract : Goodness of fit tests are typically used when the form of the probability distribution of the community is well known and accepted hypothesis nihilistic view that the data belong to a given distribution. Therefore, the appropriate range of values ​​seen with the distribution of the sample which could be replaced by a test of goodness of fit tests. These tests depend on the nihilistic hypothesis, which states that the sample drawn from the community has a particular function is the probability distribution of the community, who withdrew from the original sample. Interested in this research study testing goodness of fit for the distribution of Lomax with features of the three unknowns, using the correlation coefficient, in which researchers estimate the parameters of this distribution and access to random samples of different sizes from the distribution of Lomax in a Monte Carlo simulation and used in the preparation of tables of critical values ​​of the statistic test Lomax then calculate power function for the distribution of Lomax distributions tests with some other life.
