Abstract : The Medina area of ​​the largest producing areas of the types of mint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Most production is consumed locally, and a shoot in his daring consumers of fresh (which is used in salads and also placed on the tea) as well as securities representing relatively high proportion of volatile oils of this aromatic plant. Hence, the planning of this research to study the possibility to use and take advantage of this production economically. It was a choice of three different types of mint varieties from the area of ​​Medina (Moroccan, shower, urban (Hasawi)) and the oral flora of the platoon (labiatae) Family Lamiaceae. This research aims to study the contents of chlorophyll, the content of mineral elements, the study of volatile oils of the leaves are aromatic, and to determine the extent of benefit from it in the form of extract in the uses of the above, and so identify the components of chemical as there is very little published about the characteristics of these items in the Medina, compared to what is published for these species, races and factions in this family. This research confirmed the importance of aromatic mint sofa and content of volatile oils, and recommends planting olive attention in larger quantities and used in many industrial and medical purposes.
