Abstract : The objective of the current study is to identify and study the impact of physical and chemical processes on the quality of groundwater in the basins of the conduct of the Valley Khulais includes (Valley Gran - Valley Marwani - Easy Khulais) and Wadi Usfaan includes (Huda al-Sham - Valley Alsoqh - Shamia) two realities in the western region of Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia. She noted the current study that the main factor is important in the concentration of salinity of groundwater is the process of evaporation of rain water and irrigation water surface, where this process will lead to focus and then precipitation of salts within the soil and sediment surface with the passage of time under these salt deposits for washing and dilution by rain and floods as well as as a result of irrigation. Although regarded as salt concentration and deposition by a process of evaporation the main factor but that there are other factors affecting the groundwater chemistry, including chemical weathering which results in adding elements of calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, potassium groundwater. Element sodium is added in the same way as a result of the grammatical chemical concentration in water at least by the reverse ion exchange that leads free calcium in the water. It was noted that some elements such as potassium, iron and silica added to the groundwater due to chemical weathering but the concentration of these elements is low because of the interactions that led to the deposition and thus lower content in the water. Found that the presence of a sulfate in the groundwater due to the chemical composition of rainwater, which contains this element, as well as a result of oxidation of mineral pyrite. Addition to the metal melt the gypsum precipitated as a result of evaporation in the ranges of surface soil and sediment. The results of the method of analyzing the factors indicated that there are two main difference in the groundwater chemistry (1) Algeoffan mineralization of water by evaporation (2) melt the metal and carbon deposition. Groundwater is generally suitable for agricultural purposes also noted the values of sodium adsorption ratio and residual sodium carbonate has been discussed ways to monitor and improve the quality of groundwater have been developed some of the recommendations in this regard.
