Focused on the objectives of the project in the first phase, according to the agenda Executive search for alternative sources of feed additives natural (natural herbs or spices) rather than sources of chemical classic used in that area for many years and so far in order to achieve maximum production, identifying the best ratios of these additions taking into account the natural no harm to human health or the performance of birds or the economic cost.
This is identical with the interest of the Kingdom of the reduction of drugs and chemicals added Il feed birds and work to solve this problem by providing alternatives through scientific research.
Therefore in this study were selected from five medicinal herbs and natural spices, available in the local market with the Saudi and reasonable prices and have characteristics of natural and synthetic existing health and references are:
Black Pepper Black Pepper (Piper unigram) Red Pepper Chillies Pepper (Capsicum annuum) Cinnamon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum) Pink Carnation (Dianthus Caryophllus)
Garlic Garlic (Allium Sativum
These materials were evaluated as feed additives for broiler chicks, feed, using different rates and in the two square and two tests in the first phase of the study.
The first experiment: the use of different levels for each subject from the previous five articles is 0.05%, 0.1% and 0.15% with a feed-free control of these additives and the study was conducted on broiler chicks from age 5 to 42 days.
In the second experiment: percentages have been modified to be double the previous rates of the first study, except the garlic with a control feed (free of these additives) and the presence of the positive control antibiotic (Neomycin). And continued study on broiler chicks from age 10 to 42 days.
Has been taking various measures for the performance of the birds body weight and increase the feed consumption and feed conversion ratio and mortality rate and the rate of economic efficiency as well as the shelling of the sacrifice ratio and the weight of internal organs and the lineage.
From the results of two studies preceding shows the ability of bird feed consumption added his herbs and spices in different proportions with no side effects with a sharp decline in the rate of mortality and the absence of symptoms of health and improve feed conversion ratio and increased weight gain under different rates to those additives compared with the control or negative Alkntrul positive additive has antibiotic .
Based on the project plan at various stages of a focus on the search for the best additions of natural spices and herbs, as well as better ratios of these additives, without prejudice to the economics of production and performance of the birds in order to achieve the results encourage the use of these spices instead of chemicals, especially antibiotics refreshments for growth in the feed chicks broiler.
The results of experiments 1 and 2 and the forward in the league in the first report of the project on 07/08/1422 AH 25/09/2001 M. was an urgent need to work another experiment to study the combined effect of each of the spices, antibiotics compared Bikuntrul negative and positive to the experiment number ( 3) Therefore, the study was conducted using four types of spices are black pepper, red pepper, cinnamon, cloves, one level is 0.2 g / kg feed were housed birds in batteries instead of the land, as well as the study was conducted on the old age 18 days.
And use the antibiotic concentration of 0.02% / kg feed tonic growth was also compared to blends two from each of the black pepper + red pepper and cinnamon + cloves in accordance with the following: the transaction was No. 3 a mixture of red pepper + black pepper, and treatment No. 4 mixture of cinnamon + cloves, and women 5.6, 7, 8, for each substance is mixed separately with the antibiotic according to the order as stated in Table 5.

The results show the experiment number (4) to 0.2% of black pepper has improved the growth rate by 2.2% and the efficiency manufacturing of feed by 7.3% when compared with the control and tie in the conversion factor with the group that the antibiotic and also explained the findings that 0.2% mixture (1 : 1) black pepper, red pepper and red pepper and cinnamon led to increased growth and conversion factor compared with the control did not differ significantly from those results compared to the group that Baalvha antibiotic.
And also the results of the study, four of the mixture led to an improvement in growth and efficiency for manufacturing group Alkntrul.
As well as the results of this study showed that there are apparent Synergistic when you add cinnamon to the mixture of black pepper, cinnamon and cloves as well as when added to a mixture of red pepper and cinnamon.
And the general results showed that the addition of 0.2% black pepper enhances the growth of broiler chicks and feed conversion factor to the meat and thus can be used to supplement natural feed in any mixture of both Paddy or Nami.
And the general also that both the additions of natural spices and proportions of different and neomycin did not affect negatively the rate shelling and internal organs of those four trials food can say that the 0.1% red pepper and 0.2% black pepper, can serve the source of natural additions stimulant for growth in the feed broiler chicks at different ages.
