Not going to say the failure of policies of university education in the Islamic countries on the face of all, because the denial of the great efforts made, are still being made, on more than one level, but we should point out that continuing to work educational policies in this field, would lead the results are not useful for the development of society and enable it to catch up with developed scientifically and industrially. We do not overlook that the development of university education requires the budgets of large, and most governments in Muslim countries, do not have the resources, but that does not mean to rely on it actually, it is possible to begin a gradual pace, provided that there is political will, beyond the university funding problem, which is One of the most important challenges they face. From here emerged in the academic term "university-produced", which began with some universities in order to search for sources of additional funding to cover the shortfall in their budgets. But from the perspective of the reality of university education in Islamic countries, we find that the economic and social dimension can not be achieved through the concept alone, but the search for a formula for the University of productive non-profit, generating activities, income contribute to cover expenses, so that any additional profit do not benefit Parties from the organization or the owner or director of the University. This research aims to propose a formula appropriate to the circumstances and the possibilities of Islamic countries to meet the requirements of university education the economic and social development through discussion of the experience of some universities in Muslim countries in the field of university-producing and showing its advantages and disadvantages from the perspective of economic and social objectives of education and the possibility of applying a formula the University of productive non-profit that is fully compatible with privacy of the Muslim community and meet the requirements of social development in these countries. |
