Abstract : This study aimed to investigate the views of those in the journalism world in Saudi Arabia on the creation of a national journalist information center that would serve all Saudi Journals and newspapers. It used they survey methodology to gather the needed data to answer the research questions. The study used three different questionnaires distributed to the general managers, chief editors, and the heads of the information centers in the Saudi journals. The idea of creating such an information center was greatly supported by the general managers and the heads of the information centers, but not the chief editors of the Saudi newspapers where half of those participated in the study were against the idea. This raises a major question about the possibility of seeing the suggested information center operates successfully since it needs the full support of its small finding community.
